Non-residents are held to half of each: 30 grams of flower, 500 milligrams of THC in infused products, and 5 grams of concentrate.
A thousand milligrams sounds enormous next to a 5 mg can, and it is — you would need two hundred cans to get there. 4. Plan like an edible, not like a beer

The habit that works is simple. Take one serving, then leave it alone for a couple of hours before you decide anything. Opening a second can at the forty-minute mark because nothing seems to be happening is the most common way a pleasant evening turns into an unpleasant one.
5. Beverages versus edibles versus flower

6. What to look for on the shelf
A few things separate one can from another beyond flavor:
- Single-serve or multi-serve. A single-serve can is the simplest thing to hand someone. Multi-serve bottles require pouring and measuring.
- Ratio products. Some drinks pair THC with CBD in a stated ratio. The label tells you both numbers.
- Fast-acting formulations. Some manufacturers use emulsions marketed as faster onset. Treat the claim as a starting point, not a guarantee, and still give it time.
- Storage. Check whether it wants refrigeration and note the expiration date, the same as any drink in your fridge.
7. The rules that do not change
